FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Need some clarification? Here are some of the most common questions we hear about our internship opportunities.
How do I apply?
Before applying for any of our vacancies, we recommend taking a few moments to review the job description and person specification. This will help you decide whether the role is a good match for your skills, experience, and career aspirations.
When you're ready to apply, you'll be asked to complete a short application form and upload your most recent CV. Both are required for us to be able to consider your application.
How can I request reasonable adjustments during recruitment process?
As part of your application, you'll have the opportunity to tell us about any health conditions, disabilities, or reasonable adjustments that may help you throughout the recruitment process.
If you're shortlisted, a member of our Talent Team will talk through your requirements with you and work closely with you to make sure you have a fair, inclusive, and positive experience every step of the way.
What happens if my application is shortlisted?
If your application is shortlisted, a member of our Talent Team will be in touch to arrange an initial screening call.
This is an opportunity for us to get to know you better, learn more about your experience, and tell you more about the role you've applied for. It's also your chance to ask any questions you may have and make sure the opportunity is the right fit for you and your career goals.
If we decide to progress your application following the screening call, we'll talk you through the next steps and provide all the information you need about the interview process, including what to expect and the expected timelines.
How do I prepare for an interview?
Our interviews are competency-based, which means we'll ask questions about your previous experiences and behaviours to help us understand how your skills and experience align with the role.
To help you feel as prepared as possible, we recommend thinking about examples from your work experience that demonstrate your key strengths and achievements. Having these examples ready will help you answer questions clearly and confidently during the interview.
We'd also encourage you to spend some time getting to know our business and to come along with any questions you'd like to ask us. An interview is a two-way conversation, so it's a great opportunity to learn more about us and decide whether we're the right fit for you too.
Who will I meet during the interview process?
The interview format will vary depending on the role you've applied for and the stage of the process you're at.
In most cases, you'll meet with a panel of up to three interviewers. The hiring manager will always be part of the interview panel, giving you the opportunity to learn more about the role, the team, and what it's like to work with us.
We'll make sure you have all the details you need before your interview, so you'll know who you'll be meeting and what to expect.
When do I find out if I'm successful following my interview?
We aim to get back to you with interview feedback within 48 hours of your interview. If there's any delay in receiving feedback from the interview panel, a member of our Talent Team will be in touch to keep you updated on the progress of your application.
We always provide feedback over the phone, as we believe this gives us the opportunity to have a more meaningful conversation with you about the outcome. If we're unable to reach you on our first attempt, we'll send you an email and ask that you give us a call back when it's convenient for you so we can talk you through the next steps.
Will I receive feedback if I'm unsuccessful?
If you're unsuccessful following your interview, a member of the Talent Team will aim to contact you with feedback within 48 hours.
We always provide feedback over the phone, as it gives us the opportunity to have a more personal conversation and share constructive feedback that may help with future applications and interviews.
If we're unable to reach you on our first attempt, we'll send you an email and ask that you return our call when it's convenient for you.
If we don't hear back from you, we'll send a brief email to confirm the outcome of your application.
