Get curious. Build relationships. Win the business
Know the project. Earn the call back.
Every customer has a different project - and more often than not, a few on the go. One might need materials for an extension, another pricing up a job they’ve just won. The more you listen carefully, ask the right questions, learn about what customers are working on and spot the challenges they'll have, the more you can help. In branch, at the counter or out on sites, you’ll be someone customers pick the phone up to first.
Turn conversations into a careerI absolutely love getting out on site. Customers are looking for a point of contact, want to know they’ll get a quick response and that’s a key part of the relationship. If you can get that right, everything else falls into place.
